Will I need a solicitor?
As you will need a conveyancing firm to purchase your property we can instruct one on your behalf from our network of strategic partners without you ever having to see the solicitor.

What are the Legal Fees?
These include those of our associated Spanish firm 1% - 3% (dependant upon the property price) of net purchase price, say €240,000=€2,400+ VAT (16% on Spanish solicitors fees approximately)
* Changes in the exchange rate may increase the sterling equivalent of your debt
* Not all forms of mortgage are regulated by the Financial Services Authority
NB. If you are buying off plan, you will have paid some of this already to the developer or agent within the stage payments.
Spanish Wills
Having a Spanish Will to cover only your assets in Spain will simplify and reduce the costs of further inheritance issues. We can introduce you to our partners APS Legal Spain.
There will be a fee for mortgage advice and arrangement, dependent upon your circumstances but we estimate it to be 1% of the loan value, example for a loan of £100,000 the fee payable would be £1,000.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other loan secured on it.
